Frequently Asked Questions

  • We work with Fins Seafood in Perth. They supply premium whole fish and we break down and prepare everything ourselves based on the orders each week. This is why we run a limited batch. The menu lands every Wednesday at 7am and updates to match what is looking best in the market so you always get the freshest possible sushi and sashimi.


  • No. Sushi Fridays is created and run by Karl Wulf under Good Food HQ, a separate business.

    The Pumphouse are the legends who allow us to use their kitchen space for rolling sushi and for Friday pickups, but the sushi itself is a Good Food HQ product.


  • We don’t take walk ups. Everything is done by pre order so we can prep fresh and to exact quantities. This keeps waste low and helps us keep the price fair. The menu goes live each Wednesday at 7am, and pickups at The Pumphouse are for confirmed pre orders only. If you ever miss out, check early the following week and we will look after you.

  • Yes. Sushi rice is cooked fresh each Friday morning, rolls are hand made to order quantities, sashimi is sliced fresh, and the free range chicken is fried just before pickup.


  • Yes. We offer larger orders and custom catering depending on the menu and availability.
